GANDA LA PASS
TREK
The Ganda La 4950m is located just 25km’s south of Leh town and can be completed in 4 nights and five days of trekking. The access to the pass is through the Rumbak village which offers opportunity to observe village life in Ladakh and also take acclimatisation walks in multiple directions. The climb to the base of the pass is through multiple side valley and in fairly remote terrain. The pass crossing is exciting and offers wide views specially of the Zanskar Range. The village of Shingo on the return is an oasis of green and offers stunning camping options. The trail from Singo to Chilling at the end of the trek passes through a long gorge which is one of the highlights of the trek.
