Capt. Kohli was the leader of India’s first successful Everest expedition in 1965 where 9 climbers reached the summit. He is one of the few who survived three consecutive nights at 28000 ft on Everest, two nights without oxygen. Capt. Kohli introduced the Himalayas to the world for trekking in the early seventies. He personally helped set up adventure tour operations in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and several European countries alongside introducing white water rafting and aero sports in India. To stop the environmental degradation in the Himalayas, Capt. Kohli founded the Himalayan Environment Trust along with a Sir Edmund Hillary, Sir Chris Bonington, Reinhold Messner, Junko Tabei, Maurice Herzog, Sushil Gupta and Dr. Karan Singh. Capt. Kohli is a recipient of several national and international honours including India's Padma Bhushan and the Arjuna Award. He enjoyed the rare privilege of addressing members of both Houses of the Indian Parliament. Capt. Kohli has authored so far 28 books.

Maninder Kohli was drawn to the mountains at an early age inspired by his father, Captain MS Kohli, who led India’s path breaking climb of Everest in 1965. Over the years, his travels have taken him across the Himalaya and to several locations around the world climbing, trekking, skiing, rafting and mountain biking. Maninder currently runs the Juniper Outdoor Pursuits Centre and is based in Delhi. He has previously worked with Citibank for 20 years and has found that outdoor adventure is a great way to unwind from the stress of modern corporate life. Maninder is a strong advocate of people taking to the outdoors and feels that it is a great value add if each youngster is given the “right” introduction to adventure.

Rohit Aggarwal – Advisor Rohit Aggarwal is the Co-founder of Lite Bite Foods which is one of India's most respected F&B operators having over 12 core brands under its umbrella. Lite Bite Foods currently has over 100 operational outlets  spread across malls, airports, multiplexes and office complexes. The flagship brands of Lite Bites include Punjab Grill, Zambar, Fresc Co, Asia Seven, The Artful Baker, Street foods by Punjab Grill - winner of several Food awards and well known for their respective cuisines across the country. Apart from his business interests Rohit is an adventurer at heart and you can often spot him on a trek or on his bike wandering remote corners of the Himalayas.

Vegrad Iversen – Advisor Vegard Iversen has lived in Delhi with his family for the last 10 years: he was transformed by his first Himalayan treks in Nepal in 1988 and 1989 and has participated in two Juniper treks since: first to the Putasar Lakes (from Manali) in 2011 and then to Western Sikkim in 2013. He has also crisscrossed the Pyrenees between France and Spain. In April 2015 and just days before the fatal earthquake, he completed a repeat of his first Solu Khumbu trek starting out at Jiri. On the Himalayas, he echoes the sentiment of his sister, another outdoors enthusiast, who after their joint 2015 Nepal trek felt that this, by a wide margin, was the smartest thing she had ever done. In Delhi, Vegard teaches and works on development-related economics with affiliations to Duke and University of Manchester. He is eagerly awaiting the right opportunity to introduce his two young sons to the magic and splendor of the Himalayas.

Susan Hunt - Advisor Susan Hunt is a Board level strategist and marketer with specialist skills in brand management, corporate affairs, destination, event and sport marketing and sponsorship. She came into India prior to the 2010 Commonwealth Games and has since stayed on in India. Like most Austrlaian's she shared a great love for the outdoors and challenging her self. She is an Iron Man finisher and has also participated in the Marathon Des Sables. After the end of the Commonwealth Games she took on the ultimate challenge of attempting Mt. Everest and reached the summit in May of 2011. In recent times Susan has become India's first swimming coach for new born children and lives in New Delhi.

Rajiv Jamkhedkar - Advisor Rajiv Jamkhedkar is a veteran of the Retail Financial Services business
 and has held positions of leadership in the Industry at the highest level.
 He currently runs his own company Serengeti Venutres Pvt Ltd.
 Serengeti Ventures is a unique marketing company that helps 
 businesses grow their revenues through improved Sales and Marketing
 systems and their execution. Recently, Serengeti Ventures has launched 
 its second venture - a Pioneering product The AZAD Programme, to help individuals achieve Financial Freedom. Rajiv was the MD & CEO of AEGON Religare Life Insurance company for 6 years(2007-2013). He was one of the first employees and set up the company from scratch. Before that, Rajiv's long career in retail banking was in the area of Consumer Lending. Rajiv joined Citibank as a Management Trainee in 1991 and till 2007 was in various Sales and Business roles at Citi, India. Rajiv has spent 17 years managing and running loans businesses. Rajiv has an M.B.A. degree from Faculty of Management Studies(FMS), Delhi University and a B.Tech. degree from IIT-BHU, Varanasi. Apart from work, Rajiv loves to read non-fiction, travel with the family, run long distance and trek in the Himalayas.

Alagu Balaraman - Advisor Alagu has nearly 30 years of experience in business, both in consulting and executive roles in companies. He has worked on framing and implementing business strategies and change initiatives in companies such as Gillette, IOCL, Britannia, Kellogg's and Coca Cola. He has held functional roles as head of IT, HR, supply chain redesign and business planning. Alagu has actively participated with academia, in teaching, guiding and as an examiner in IITM. It was at IIM Kolkatta that Alagu gained a fondness for the Himalaya and as an avid trekker he makes sure that he does not miss out on an annual trek in the Himalaya.

Mehru Bedi – Program Director, One More Step Programs Mehrunissa Bedi is a Sales and Service professional with over 25 years experience across Sales and Marketing, Customer service, and Collections. She worked with Citibank for a period of 18 years where she held roles in Customer Service, Sales, Collections and in her last role, she headed the Prepaid Card business. In this role, she headed a team of 8 Regional Managers across India which managed a Distribution channel of 17 leading Travel companies and Moneychanger and managed all Revenue and Expense lines to make this Product the leading Prepaid card in India at that time. After leaving Citibank, Mehru worked 8 years with TSI which is a Private Equity funded Payments Solution Company with a significant focus on ATM outsourcing for Banks in India and Bill Payment solutions for Utility companies and Banks. In addition to Business Development, she took over to head the Human Resources role and was actively involved in Hiring, Training, Motivation and Setting and Review of Performance Goals for the team of 85 employees of the Company. Mehru studied at Shri Ram College of Commerce and then did a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing and Advertising. She was born in the UK and has travelled extensively. She is an avid reader and enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.
